Shannon’s position at Grant Memorial is World Mission Coordinator. She has the honour and privilege to be able to provide care for Grant’s endorsed missionaries as well as administrative support to Steve Bock, who continues to direct World Mission. Shannon has been married to her highschool sweetheart, Dino since 1994 when they moved from Kenora, ON to Winnipeg to pursue employment as teachers in a private Christian school. Their firstborn, Jake, is married to Maeghan and they live here in Winnipeg. Sofi is studying nursing and lives with them along with Eli and Cate who both attend Linden Christian School. Shannon started volunteering at Grant when they began attending in 2001, beginning in Children’s Ministry, then Women’s Ministry and finally with World Mission. She has loved having the opportunity to serve with her fellow congregants! This is Shannon’s first time being employed on staff and she is so thrilled to be able to join this team who she has enjoyed so much for all these years. What you may not know about Shannon is that she used to despise dogs, but in 2019 she became utterly and completely smitten with her Frenchton, Max.
