Summer Ministry Bursary Program

The Summer Ministry Bursary Program is designed to encourage students who attend Grant Memorial Church to engage in full-time summer ministry with a Christian charity.

This bursary provides financial support to help students return to school in the fall.

Applications for Summer 2025 will be accepted until August 1, 2025.

BURSARY OFFER

Students will receive $100 per week of full-time ministry.

Bursaries are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.

The bursary is available for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks
(May–August).

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

Disbursement of Funds

● Bursary cheques will be mailed after August 15.
● Funds will be sent directly to the host ministry.

Please note: Funding levels are subject to change.

To qualify, students must:

Confirm that their host ministry can accept the bursary funds from Grant Memorial and distribute them to the student.

● Serve full-time hours each week with their host ministry organization.

● Be returning to secondary or post-secondary education in the fall.

● Regularly attend Grant Memorial Church.

● Share their ministry experience with the church in the fall, which may include:

○ Speaking at a GO Lunch (after church)

○ Providing a video testimony

○ Writing a letter of thanks to the congregation
